United Women of Faith

United Women of Faith (UWFaith) shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Join us by attending a membership meeting through one of these sub-groups:

• Dorcas Circle: Meets the first Wednesday of the month April through December. The meeting starts at 10:00 and ends at 2:00 pm with a sack lunch.
• Esther Circle: Meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9: 30 a.m. The women put together health and school kits for UMCOR.
• Eve Circle: Meets the fourth Saturday of the month starting at 9:15 a.m. This groups has a program each month featuring a special speaker or may occasionally take a trip to shelter group home or charity in the area for a tour. A Spring Salad Luncheon and a Fall Bazaar are the two fund-raisers held by the unit. Money is used to support such groups as Bidwell Riverside, Hawthorn Hill, Youth Emergency Shelter and Services and other groups working to improve the lives of women, children and youth. Funeral lunches are provided without cost as a mission to the families.

The board meets the first Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
